The first aid training pilot project "I CAN HELP"
We have initiated the first aid training pilot project "I CAN HELP", acquiring vital skills to act in crisis situations.
Unfortunately, young people, as well as older people, often do not know how to do anything or react adequately in the event of an accident. People develop fear that paralyzes their thinking and action. Sometimes in a crisis situation, people grab their cell phone to film the event instead of taking decisive action, calling for help and helping those in need.
The aim of the project is:
- To provide school students and teachers with basic knowledge to act in an emergency based on the principle "he who does not need help himself can help".
- To prepare both school students (grades 6-12) and teachers so that they are ready to respond and provide the necessary help in emergency situations.
- To encourage students to take an active role in their communities by being more informed and prepared helpers.
- To train citizens with adequate, correct, quick and courageous response who can respond adequately in crisis situations and help their peers.
After completing the full-scale training, young people receive a "I CAN HELP" badge, which is worn in a visible place at school to show that the young person is able to keep calm and help their peers in an emergency.
