Participating in Order of Malta Foundation’s volunteer projects allows young people to gain practical knowledge and skills essential for a successful career start.

Order of Malta Foundation creates value for Estonian employers by offering them young workers who have proven their efficiency and appropriate moral qualities through participation in volunteer projects.

The Order of Malta is one of the oldest institutions of Western and Christian civilisation. Today, the Order of Malta is active in 120 countries, caring for people in need through its medical, social and humanitarian works. Day-to-day, its broad spectrum of social projects provides constant support for forgotten or excluded members of society. Our foundation, the Order of Malta Estonia, shares the same global values and mission as the Order of Malta.

Order of Malta Foundation will strategically focus on adding value on the social institution level and promote youth volunteering in Estonia by creating value on the behavioural level for two groups of society: young people on the threshold of their first employment in life and employers of all forms of ownership working in Estonia. Order of Malta Foundation offers value for young people through practice and education. Each volunteer project provides them with unique practical experience, develops soft and hard skills, and fosters a future employee’s moral qualities.

For employers, Order of Malta Foundation provides an opportunity to hire skilled and ethical young people and contribute through the support of volunteer projects.
